Accepting Churches

We ask all churches around the country to be places where there exists a welcoming environment, to help those trying to make positive changes in their lives - including those leaving the custodial system, their families and friends.

We ask that church leaders and their members demonstrate a heart to help, an acceptance of others and a willingness for their church to be known as a place that is open to those in need.

We ask especially that if you are someone or a family wanting to approach a church - you please ensure you make contact with the church leadership.

Make yourself known and be guided by them as to how to progress in the church and your faith. Especially inform them of anything significant about your situation (including conditions or restrictions) that may be necessary to ensure everything is handled properly for all involved and there can be no issues down the track.
